San Francisco Giants pitcher Alex Cobb threw a complete game shutout against the Los Angeles Dodgers on Wednesday night, leading his team to a 4-0 victory.

Cobb allowed just four hits and one walk while striking out eight Dodgers batters. It was his first complete game shutout since 2018.

The Giants offense was led by Brandon Crawford, who went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBIs. Joc Pederson also had a big night, going 2-for-4 with a solo home run.

The Dodgers, who have now lost three straight games, were held to just four hits by Cobb. Mookie Betts and Will Smith each had two hits for Los Angeles.

The Giants improved to 25-17 with the win, while the Dodgers fell to 23-19. The two teams will face off again on Thursday night at Oracle Park.
